Here at The Rothay Garth we have a large, comfortable
lounge for you to relax in with stunning views of
the Lake District fells, a choice of daily papers, a selection
of local interest books and magazines or, if you
prefer, you can simply doze off in front of our lovely
open fire!

For those who may require something of substance after a hard days walking on the Lake District fells, or a well deserved pre-dinner drink to start your evening we offer a resident's drinks service between 2pm - 8.30pm.

Conservatory
Enjoy impressive views of some of the Lake District 's classic
mountains from the comfort of your chair! From the conservatory
you can watch the world go by, read a book or try and
count how many fell walkers you can see marching up Loughrigg
Fell!!
Large Private Car Park
One of the great things about staying at The Rothay
Garth is that you can always find a car parking space.
We have room for 18 vehicles. |

Garden
The Rothay Garth has a beautiful landscaped garden
with seating areas from which you can enjoy the Lake District mountain scenery, or a leisurely drink.
Snacks and Drinks
Served from 1:30pm until 5:30pm we offer a menu
serving up sandwiches with a lovely salad garnish
and crisps. For those walkers planning a long day
on the Lake District fells we will happily fill your flasks with
hot or cold drinks, and we offer a fell walkers
packed lunch to keep you going until tea time! |
