 Mountain Biking
We can offer your bikes hotel accommodation for the night
too!! We will keep your mountain bike in our secure shed
which we lock every night. If you are unsure where to
head to we have some route maps which are graded “doddle,
dodgy or deadly” and we also keep a good puncture
repair kit on site. Finally, as well as use of the drying
cupboard for shoes and jackets, we have a hose pipe
which you can use on your bike to clean off any mud. |

Rainy Days
For those days when you don't want to venture out in
the Lake District rain guests at The Rothay Garth have use
of the Langdale Hotel and Country Club. Tickets can be purchased
at reception for the club which is a very pleasant 10
minute drive away up the Langdale Valley where you will
find a fully equipped exercise studio, a 20m swimming
pool, a steam room, a spa bath, a sanarium and, finally,
for those brave enough to try it - a deluge shower!
Touring the Area
As well as a walking book we also offer a “Days
Out by Car” book, again with directions from our
car park to such popular destinations as Muncaster Castle,
Tarn Hows and the lost village of Mardale. We even tell
you where to stock up on fuel and where to find the toilets!! |
